Sudden Feedback Thru Stereo Posted by nateh89spg [Email] (#563) [Profile/Gallery] (more from nateh89spg) on Thu, 9 Jul 2009 15:24:45 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Hi All,
I changed out a bad power window motor on the passenger side, and now in the AM (or evening if garaged) I am experiencing serious electrical noise thought the stereo (aftermarket amp, head unit, crossovers and speakers). The feedback is present only when the car runs; I can hear the window motors run via the speakers as well as the brake lights. So I'm thinking it must be due to the thermal expansion of (?) causing the "problem" to go away when the car is parked at work outside.
I kinda figuring a bad ground somewhere (as is the standard fix for most electrical issues) and I haven't see anyone with a come and go problem like this. I've been simply turning off the tunes on the way to work in the AM, as there is not much on anyway.
Car is 88 SPG, stereo professionally wired in 4 years ago at this point.
Thoughts?
Take Care,
Nate
