Saab did not, in any way, distinguish the inner drivers regarding their placement in manual versus automatic transaxles, they are the same. The only difference in classic 900 inner drivers is between the early (through mid-'86) and later (mid-'86 through '94 CV) versions. The early drivers and tripods were smaller in overall diameter than the later ones. Your car seems to have the original small tripod bearings but is not, thanks to the '89 transaxle, fitted with the late, larger inner drivers. You need to correct that ASAP or they may be big trouble. Be aware that even with the correct parts there is always a very tiny bit of slop in there. Peace..out
