both other posts are correct.
Two things:
1) if your seats both have the adjuster for front rear sliding (drivers seat) under your left knee and it's a loop, then you are good to go. If one of them has a bar nearer the floor that goes completely from side to side then the mounts are different and the seats are not interchangable.
2) if you have the first style... they are a bi-atch to remove, if you don't do it properly you can get very stuck with a foot in the boat and one on the dock... very ugly. I do it like this. first, do the height adjustment so that the seat is all the way up both the front and rear, not tilted down in the front or rear, level. Verify this by sliding the seat forward and looking for the inverted "T" and you should see that the T is all the way to the metal three sided hoop, and if you look closer you will see the metal spring against the top of the loop as well. if the T is down any and the loop is positioned in the indent above the T, go back and work on the height adjustment.
Next, get under the seat and disconnect all of the wires, maybe one set, maybe more - get them all. Next fold the seat forward, it needs to remain in the position until after removed, very important! Next get the Hex driver that fits (I forget, 4,5, or maybe a 6mm???) slide the seat back about halfway, lossen the hex bolts, one of them is much more difficult to get to (I think it's the one next to the ajuster, you will recognize the situation right away), move the seat back some more if necessary and take that bolt all the way out... move the seat ALL THE WAY forward, Making sure that the seat is still folded forward Check again that the "T" is in the correct position, and remove the other bolt (I think it's the inboard bolt, the seat are mirrored in controls and issues with mounting) LIFT UP ON THE FRONT OF THE SEAT but do NOT allow it to slide forward, keep the seat pushed back slightly to keep the "T" on the three sided LOOP, rock the seat BASE up and towards the rear while keeping the seat back folded it's a balance thing, and at about a 45 degree angle on the base you should be able to lift and pickup the seat with a rearward motion. That "T" and the flat spring steel for the height adjuster are the things to keep straight in the above, if you allow the seat to slip forward the T will drop down and the spring steel can lock down on one side and NOT the other as there is no lateral support to keep it from doing that... it's no fun at that point.
installation is exactly the reverse, do the slides to put the seat forward,, rock the seat back forward, tilt the seat, set the T in place start the inboard screw and snug (not tight yet) and that will keep everyone in place, then slide the seat back about 1/3 to 1/2 and move the outside mounting bracket left and right until the screw hole is aligned and start the screw. Be careful with the screws, very soft metal in there and too easy to cross thread and ruin your day or evening. a bit of grease helps here, but so does taking your time.
