on a few things
You might see 10 psi/1000 rpms when the oil has reached operating temperature but much higher pressure before then. However optimal oil pressure at 2000 rpm is about 39 psi for oil at minimal operating temperature (176)
At startup and until you reaching operating temperature( could be between 180 and 230) pressure at idle could be between 60 and 80 psi depending on ambient temperature and viscosity of oil and should slowly drop as engine warms up
If you are using synthetic you will see slightly lower pressures overall and if you are using a heavy weight oil eg 15W 50 or 20W50 you will see higher pressures overall
pressure relief valve opens at 65-72 psi so if you are seeing consistently higher pressures than that even after engine is warmed up in hot weather it could be blockage somewhere or a stuck relief valve
you can run a pressure tester off your oil port to confirm its not the gauge
