Fuel lever sender unit ground point: G3
Location: ground point in luggage compartment (really?)
Combined instruments ground point: G8 (thru J60 connector)
Location: ground point behind the instrument panel (I bet it's the one right by the left speaker). Trace the #193A wire (0.75 sq mm, thin) to get to J60 and the go with #17 wire (6 sq mm, thick) to get to G8. Both thin and thick wires are black in stock.
Brake light switch toggles brake lights on by connecting G3 ground point (see above) thru the bulbs to +30 power circuit. So the main suspect should be the G3 and G8 as the secondary.
