have the knowledge or first hand skills anymore. This is in response to your ? about the dealership. To be honest, I currently have 5 usable 900's and one almost gone 94 vert that I will remove (cut off) a few body panels from, then there is nothing further I can do. As I was saying I have owned a saab 900 since I bought my first and only new 900 in 1983. About 6 nyears later it blew a turbo (and tons of blue oil smoke) When I got to dads in Pa. I took it to the "dealer." They changed the turbo and oil / filter and that was it even though I suggested they should pull the engine and get into the oil "pan" . Drove car to KY. With in a month the engine seized due to oil starvation. Took it to another dealer in Nashville TN , Had engine completely rebuilt. car ran great until it was totalled about 1995. Bought a "new" (used) 900 sedan. But learned to do all my own work (clutch, axils, tie rod and ball joints brakes etc etc. Then found this site about 2 years ago. Have learned much since then, and started buying up cars for parts and it is now a hobby keeping as many saabs alive as I can. I met and will meet 100's of other Saab addicted (read that loyal Swedish worshiping Saabers)who have the same love for their car as you express for yours. Again welcome home. Your Saab experience has only just begun.In some way you will be a student and also a teacher as you share your Saab related issues here. As for the spouse she will just have to accept an old flame has been rekindled, and be happy it's not a girlfriend. You can, like (Mark of Australia) and others, give her a girls name, and even spend as much money on her. But if your babe is really going to create problems get a good lawyer and make sure you get the Saab. Think I'm kidding about Saab loyualty. Read many an old post about our love for saabs. I handled that issue by getting my GF a 94 vert. Teal green (the car), put a new top on it, renewed the interior, Did a few small repairs , and she is hooked, and likely mine as I now have become the resident saab expert in my area (Saabs are scarce here)so I am the only one that can fix her car. Other posters have more to say with lots less words. Sorry all.
