I am having trouble finding a flexplate for my '79 900 GLE. For those that may not know what a flexplate is, it is basically the flywheel that is bolted to the torque converter for the automatic transmission. Is there anyone out there that perhaps has converted to a manual from an auto and still has their old flexplate from the auto. If so, I am in desperate need one as mine has broken teeth for the starter and is also bent. If there is one out there, and it is not from a '79 - '80, then I think it still may work for me, but please post a good picture so I can compare. I think the only difference is the number of holes for bolting to the torque converter. THANK YOU!
