Thank you for the response! Since my stock box works fine and the Red Box gives me base boost, with no other changes to the car, I'd say my Red Box is dead, or at least very ill.

I'll check to be sure the cable and all of the contacts are connecting properly. I'm sure a broken/bent pin would cause a problem.

I did not notice anything odd with the Red Box's case-- I do not know where the k/f/p pots are-- I'll take a look when I get home.
