This morning I pulled down the sagging headliner in my 5-door to replace both it and the manual sunroof assembly with a power sunroof assembly. There is a LOT of surface rust up there, all obscured by the sunroof assembly.
I'm looking for something I can use upside down to treat the rust. Doesn't really matter what the finished product looks like, since it'll be totally invisible. I'd prefer it to be white ('cause I'll know it's there) but ultimately it doesn't matter. I just don't want this problem to perforate the roof in 20-30 years. :)
Any suggestions? Never dealt with rust before!
