An '87 won't have codes (LH 2.2 = no code storing) so that's a dead end road. I'm a little baffled at how connectors for a TPS & distributor Hall sensor could get switched - they're radically different shapes on an '87, and the TPS sensor wiring isn't long enough to reach the distibutor *and* the air mass meter at the same time. That's certainly a red flag right there.
If you are sure the connectors are correct now and you have weird voltage issues at the Hall sensor, and you've switch distributors, I'd blame the ignition control unit first. That would cause all the issues you describe. Got a spare to swap?
