OK, the fingers did go too far at one point during the install when I was bleeding the system and the spacer tool was still in (oops!), and they did come back after I removed the busted slave cylinder and everything else and reinstalled, so it is possible to push them too far? What happens? This is a CenterForce dual friction clutch, but logically seems to operate the same way as a regular SACHS cluch is designed....
