Clutch line failure, quick fix to get home ????'s

My clutch line failed on my 86 turbo in the bank parking lot.
The flex line slipped off the hard line as it goes in the slave.
Now the Master is stuck out (clutch pedal to the floor w/o any action).
The question is:
Can I use the pressure side of my vac pump to pressurize the system from the flex line to push the master back in.
Then clamp the line back on - do a quick bleed and get the 3 miles home.
Or is this a waste and I need to tow it/do a parking lot clutch line swap w/ my spare and manually push the master cylinder back in?
thanks
