Oil flowing from motor in front of firewall??? Posted by scott47 [Email] (#119) [Profile/Gallery] (more from scott47) on Tue, 29 Sep 2009 14:51:42 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I am trying to get my 1987 900T back on the road and found after starting it yesterday that oil is flowing (a steady stream, much more than a drip) from the back of the motor in front of the firewall on the driver's side of the car. In researching this online (I love saabnet) I've found two things that I think it could be. The first is the oil pump which I think is in that area and the second is the oil pressure relief valve but I don't know if it would pour out the oil. I'm hoping fellow saab lovers will be able to help me figure out what to look for and where to start. If I can provide any additional information please let me know.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Scott
