So my 1990 900 turbo 4-door was rear-ended today and I don't have high hopes for it. The whole rear left side is caved into the wheel well and the entire back is clearly out of alignment. The dumbass who hit me didn't even have a license or driving permit for that matter and was driving some monstrous Lincoln Navigator that made it out without a scratch. At least they impounded it, and I hope it stays that way for a long time.
Well, that leaves me with just one Saab. The other driver had State Farm (or atleast his dad did), so does anyone know anything about how they assess damage and what value they put a car at if it is totaled? Private party value for good-excellent (and this car definitely was good-excellent) is $1805-2080 on KBB, so what can I expect?
Oh, and what's the quickest way to strip the skins on the front leather seats? This car will live on through my convertible.
