Hey all
So I found a 91 900T with good engine/transmission for my 90 SPG project.
Pulled the doner engine and all looks good except there are 2 exhaust manifold bolts missing up by the turbo. One feels like it may be broke off flush to the head the other feels like the bolt/stud is missing as i can get s screwdriver in the hole a good inch and a half into the head.
So my concern is do I pull the exhaust and turbo and try to get the bolts fixed or would it be easyer to just swap a good head and exhaust manifold from another engine I have. I've never done any head work so am a little learey of triing that. I really dont want to put this engine in as is.
Any insight would be welcome.
Thanks
Jim Litten
