I have an 85 SPG that has constant clicking of the apc solenoid, I have checked the boost transducer and all wires and hoses are connected, checked apc box and connector was not on all the way, fixed that, still clicking...if I turn the car off and turn on the ignition to on it will gradually stop clicking after about 5 seconds. I have also had intermittent no start. THe last time it happened I swapped out the ignition amplifier and it was not the problem, then I checked for spark at coil and then at plugs and had spark at both. Fuel pump would not run... I then removed wires from fuel pump and directly wired 12 volts to fuel pump and it worked, left the fuel pump on and tried to start the car and it ran fine.... then turned off car and reconnected fuel pump wires and it started and ran fine.... turned it off and the same thing happened again.... now it starts up and runs fine...Car has always had only base boost in yellow and all vacuum lines look fine....when I step on the brake the clicking does not stop...any ideas?
