air inlet to the air filter canister can be a good place to check for nests. Soooo anyone putting away or not using cars for more than a month should put sticky pads on engine with a poison mouse bait. Inside also, just don't let sticky strips get on carpet, put down a rubber mat first.Mice have/had a field day in my 92 vert rebuild project and my 78 Dodge. I decided to put strips and bait on engine and in other 2 Saabs that sit too long and there is evidence of mice in the engine areafor they have eatten much of the poison bait block. I say poison the little bleeders. On the 92 vert they built nests in the R shock housing and the top boot area. They completely gutted the fiber glass insulation from the center interior hump and the entire fiber insulation from the hood insulation pad. All thats there is the black backing, but I have another.
