info from me. Yes I have read the complaints and evaluations about after market heater control valves, "but whats a fella to do"?. I have used saab techs with satisfactory results but as pointed out the part are purchased from varied manufactuers, so a Saab Tech part bought by me may work a long time and one bought at another time may not "be worthy" I know with winter coming on you need heat, but if the leak on your feet is getting you down and you have lots of warm clothes and gloves, you can buy a metal elbow that makes a U shape and remove the hoses from the heater control valve at the fire wall and join the two inlet and outlet HCV hoses together with the hoses and clamps. This won't do much for your windshield defroster, but you can postpone the repair w/o soaking your feet or carpet this way til you decide on a HCV supplier.
