get 5/16th SAEJ30R9 FUEL INJECTOR HOSE made by GOODYEAR from Auto Zone. It has a plastic (maybe teflon) insert lining. Cut about 2 inches of the original plastic fuel line and cut the old banjo fitting free from the cut secgtion. Take the remaining cut piece of plastic hose and warm it with a hot hair dryer. Make the banjo fitting cold by putting it in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Put some white grese on the new banjo fitting and press it into the section of cut off plastic fuel line. Now you have a piece of plastic tubing on the new banjo fitting. take a 3 inch piece of the foot fuel line tubing you bought from (Auto Zone?) and put white grease inside it. Push it over the fuel line and new banjo fitting (all this off the car) put 4 screw type clamps on the fuel line that was going to the filter at least 3 inches away from the end, spray open end of the 3 inch piece of fuel injector tubing and gently push it and twist the rubber tube as you push the open end of the 3 inch tubing. attach your banjo fitting to the filter. alig the fuel line as needed. Then tighter two clamps near the banjo fitting and two on the original plastic gas line coming from the fuel tank. has worked for me for well over a year. If for some reason you slit the fuel line from the tank you can always use the type of injector hose i described to run all the way from the fuel outlet check valve to the hose and banjo fitting at the filter.
