See link. Not a c900, but a NG 900 (which I believe is heavier)... I would think a c900 would work out well as a donor car, if the body was in good enough shape. As Siegfried suggests, you may want an AC motor to get good performance (the DC motors are great for golfcarts + Rabbit conversions, but not much power). Drawback is AC is harder to diy: requires more sophisticated electronics... cost is high...
For some reason, I think I saw a very rudimentary EV'd c900 hatch on the web ages ago, but it wasn't significantly documented. A modern 9-3 was also recently converted to EV by True Electric.
If I could get my hands on a set of PML motors at reasonable cost, I'd be very keen to convert a nice c900 with a dead engine (c4c?) to EV... at the moment, that's a pipe dream!
