make sure that the hinge pin is driven down tight, they often times work their way up and only work on two surfaces instead of the three needed to keep it straight. pin can be found beween the fuse panel and where the hood pins go into the firewall. you can compare to the other side to see if it's up. use a drift and a hammer, or a 3/8" socket extention with mallet.
