Clutch hydraulic woes. Replaced line, still no pedal. Posted by Devin [Email] (#2469) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Devin) on Mon, 30 Nov 2009 10:14:42 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Hello All,
The car is a 92' 900T that's been sitting for a while.
This is an ongoing saga as I only get to work on the car at holidays when I'm at my dad's place. The pedal was stuck up, then down. We determined that fluid was leaking out of the hydraulic line. Just replaced it and bled with a Motiv bleeder. No fluid leaks. No bubbles in line. Still no pedal. It returns but it's soft and doesn't engage. Fluid doesn't appear to be leaking anywhere now.
Could the master seals have failed internally and not be leaking?
If there's no leaking at the slave, is the slave O.K.? It was replaced 4 years ago, and the car hasn't been driven much since.
Finally, should I try to reverse bleed at the slave with a syringe as I've read about on here?
Should the master have to come out, any tricks for removing it on a car with ABS? It doesn't seem like it'll clear the ABS stuff.
Am unsure what to do next.
Thanks, Devin
