1989 c900 S 16v, battery light came on the other day and soon after I was dead in the lot. Got it towed home and pulled out the VR, even wear and LOTS of it. The new Bosch unit I bought has pickups, or whatever the metal tab things on springs (tech term I know) are called, twice as long. When I took the old one out though it kinda fell out and I didn't see exactly how it goes back in and I've been having trouble. Do the tabs point up or down, and is there a trick to getting it in there nice?? Anyone have a blow up diagram or something, if I knew how it worked I'd have a better idea, thanks everyone!
