The actuator on the mistu from my (retired)'92t was definately getting weak, only getting to maybe 4psi base after cranking the adjustment way too far. So, as per Jaks instructions, i backed off the adjuster all the way to the point where i can just slip the eyelet on the WG pin, then crank it a couple of turns, so the actuator is definately under tension, then add the spring. He goes for 10psi BB, but obviously he sets his cars up better than i do, so i was happy to see 8.5psi BB with the spring i used. I am running an OEM 127 SPG box, with a little additional retard via vaccum capsule (17-18deg to 10 under boost). Car is very quick (by stock standards), i run a K&N cone, with a pull fan on the intercooler. My guage only goes to 10psi max, so i don't know what full pressure is. 8.5psi is about 3/5 yellow on stock guage, and i sit pretty steady at 1/3 red. Nice cool air, 3bar fpr. Love the faster spool up in 3rd with the mitsu (compared to the garret), but i'm not looking to trash anymore 3rd gear sets anytime soon (i currently have 2 transaxles with stripped 3rd gears).

Wish i had done this a long time ago-i was struggling to get the boost up on that mitsu for the longest time. It was only when i put it in the SPG that i decided this had gone on long enough!

Happy holidays!
