I recently picked up a 93 900 CE. This is my first SAAB after several Volvos, and I am very happy with the switch. The CE had not been driven in four years, so it immediately went to Sandy Bullins in High Point, NC to make it mechanically sound. (Full engine tune, new fuel pressure regulator, exhaust system, shocks, ball joints, tie rods, brakes flushed...you get the idea). Now that she's running well, I could use your thoughts on how to move forward with getting all of the systems operational/making repairs.

The body is generally okay with rust on the undercarriage. It appears many of the body seams need a wire brushing, rust neutralizer, and protective coating. Only area of concern on the body otherwise is the rear passenger fender where the paint is cracked and bubbling. Under the hood, the A arms, battery tray and numerous engine components have moderate rust.

The interior is, well, 17 years old. The dash is cracked, fascia has broken mounting points, leather is dried out, radio does not work, the cruise worked yesterday but not today, air conditioner is out, and water flows into the passenger floor board. That said, the windshield was just replaced, the carpets are fine, and the car is quiet and solid.

So, here's the long awaited question...with this being a daily driver, should I approach the resto/refurb from the outside-in or inside-out and why? BTW, the car is going to SoCal in a week (military move) if that has any impact on your recommendation. Thanks, and I look forward to sharing this journey with such a fabulous enthusiast community.
