well sorry to say it met its maker, in the form of a white 73 station-wagon. the fair came to town and everyone was pressuring me to enter the derby this year. i kept telling all my kin folk that i didn't have a vehicle for the derby, i sure wasn't going to use general-lee all-though I'm sure it would of fair-ed quit a bit better than the 900. i don't know what i was thinking, the 900 vert isn't structurally sound to go head to head with the muscle cars of the 60-70's
it came down to my daughter looking up at me with her big blue eyes asking me to enter the fairs derby,.. that's all it took, the car had a big green 23 spray painted on it as for the derby itself, 1st hit the car took it was out of commission. the half shaft fell out of the driver and there it sat, before i could pull the flag down jo-bob came in reverse with his 73 station wagon and broadsided the passenger side he pushed the 900 a good 10 feet when jo-bob's car caught the passenger side wheel, (the wheel must of hooked jo-bobs rear bumper because that white station-wagon riped the rear axle clean off the 900. hee-doggy!! jo-bob was dragging it around a good 5 min. before he was taken out.
i changed the wheels from the street tires to black water mud dog wheels, I'm thinking of listing the tires you sold the car with on e-bay.
hope this helps in your wanting of info of your old car
