There will be a more in New England than other parts of the country, but they'll be rusty (unless brought there from someplace south). I've found that PA has many cars that are in a bit better shape. Close to New England, but without as much really foul weather. I've bought lots of rust-free parts from there over the years.
An indy friend of mine who moved from VT to TX (Austin area) says that there are a lot down near him--just not many for sale. He did pick up an SIS vert down there for $500 though.
