If you can you pull out the old antenna, you should have all the sections plus a sleeve and the plastic cord should pull out from the motor. Per the e-Europarts instructions, make note of where the gears are. Insert new mast (the plastic cord)and activate the motor/radio. The motor should draw the antenna in. If you don't get all the sections or the plastic cord appears to have snapped, then you will need to remove the whole unit, disassemble and get all the old pieces out. Then you can feed the new antenna in.
The hardest part is getting the old antenna out. Once you are able to get the old one out, putting a new one in is a snap. Hope that helps.
