I was reading the Saab wikipedia article today when I came across the detals of the BAIC sale

From wikipedia:
"Spyker chief executive officer Victor Muller announced that the sale of intellectual property rights to BAIC were related to the pre-1994 Saab 900 and the pre-2010 generation Saab 9-5 rather than the current production line"

The link to this info from BBC news
"The Chinese carmaker bought intellectual property relating to the old 9-5 model and to Saab 9-3 models up until 1994"

Did GM really sell the property rights of the c900 to China? It's hard to believe, and most likely a typo to suggest the 9-3 was sold up to the 9-3SS.

A weird thought, wouldn't it be interesting if there were new Chinese c900's rolling off the line in the next year or 2.
