mounts at the top of the brake pedal assembly. if you go by the bently, you need to remove the under-dash padding + vent. when I did a search, some here say just pull the drivers seat back + work upside down with a flashlight. not sure which is more of a pain in the neck, as I didn't get to fix mine: before I could get the part, my wife drained the battery (brake light stuck on all day?), got stranded at work + car ended up at our indy. good thing about that (aside from saving me a bunch of time) is they fixed a vacuum leak that was also becoming problematic...
one other thing to note (from a search of the board), you want the authentic Saab part - the aftermarkets have reportedly short lifetimes.
