For a 99, I prefer the 2 door sedan. It is the most true to the original design laid down by Sixten Sason. Over the years the trim changed, and the bumpers grew, but it's still the same classic design. To my eye, the 99 hatch, doesn't look quite right. But for the C900, my preference is for the 3 door. It looks a lot more balanced, to me. Of course, there's also the 900 Convertible...
