You can drive a car with a bad turbo. You may leave an 800 mile smoke trail, but if the turbo is toast, you can't hurt it any more. How bad is the leak? You will probably have to keep an eye on the oil level if it's bad. I wouldn't disconnect or tap off the oil line to the turbo. It's going to be spinning even if it's bad. You don't want it running without any lubrication.
If the leak is bad and you feel you need to plug off the oil line and run turboless, you can probably try this; jamb a stick or something between the compressor wheel fins and the compressor inlet housing to keep the shaft from spinning. Don't block off the opening from airflow, or connect the compressor intake and exhaust tubes together bypassing the turbo. Disconnect the wastegate actuator arm from the wastegate armature and securely prop the wastegate full open. Be prepared for a slow ride.
If it were me, I'd probably rent a 2-wheel dolly and tow it home.
