so yah...I was going to ask this SAME question today...
I'm amidst re-painting the floorboards after a serious wire-brushing, reinsulating with sound-proofer, and after throwing out the floor-rusters padding because of the same issue (as well as a leaking heater valve).
I have been thinking about using a snake, like for toilets, to push it through. Heavy gauge wire doesn't do it...its either too stiff or too weak...ANNOYING! The hose idea is a good one, but messy.
I almost replaced my drain hoses yesterday, but the humidity slowed me down after tackling the floorboards...
It was like patching the dam but without addressing the true problem.
Good luck.
