SAABs with fogs did have the stone guards standard up to 1987 I believe. Then they went to the end brackets. The housing changed a bit, so that if you want to fit stone guards on later housings they need to be modified--screw channel trimmed on the back side.
BTW, the particular model is the Bosch Pilot 150. They can be purchased new for under $100. Three different lenses are available; clear fog, amber fog, and clear driving. The stone guards can be purchased separately if you want to use them. You will need to get some SAAB harness connectors from a parts car to splice on if you want to plug directly into your OEM harness. You will also have to get some SAAB fog brackets or make your own.
