ALWAYS DISCONNECT FROM BATTERY BEFORE PROCEEDING AS THE SRS WILL TRIP TO FAIL IF YOU DISCONNECT SOMETHING.
there are three parts to keep it from jumping around, the bearing, the rubber sleeve around the bearing, and the part that is usually it issue, the plastic sleeve that makes the inner race of the bearing fit the OD of the steering shaft. the bearing is held in place by a push clip with square tabs and cut outs. using a small pick or very small screwdriver work those up and do it a *little* bit at a time and work around and around... it will come off, you can put on a flat metal surface (a vise is always good) and hit with metal hammer to flatten it for re-use. The rubber sleeve on the outside and the bearing should pry off without issue at that point. the inner sleeve may be in pieces or gone. put the replacement on in and push the three pieces back in as one. you should see immediate relief from the wheel slop. if the bearing is not worn out then you should be okay with it. a *very* light bit of grease on the bearing would be good, before you put back in. Look elsewhere on the Airbag removal and re-installation, it's pretty straight forward but remove the power first!
