The next thing to check after spark is for voltage at the fuel pump plug while cranking. Should at about 11 volts. If you have voltage there the pump is probably bad. I double check by running 12 volts to the pump to see how it sounds-if at all. If it's the OE pump it's due for replacement at 150k. Along with the regulator, water pump, thermostat, alternator bushings, belts, etc.
