Ok, plugs are dry so no fuel. You said when open fuel rail, gas sprayed & stunk up the garage. Was the odor of stale gas or simply gas? Next thing to try would be to disconnect the fuel line at the fuel filter but on the side after the fuel filter & see what if anything comes out. If you have an accomplice, have someone jump the fuel pump over to see if fuel is going through the filter canister. This could be messy so be careful! If no gas through the filter then I would say it is clogged. If gas comes through then try it again when cranking the car over without the jump. Could the crankshaft position sensor be bad? As I recall on some model of Saab the CPS has something to do with when the fuel pump runs or not. If the CPS is kaput, the fuel pump will not run when cranked over. Anyone else out there with better ideas?
