For $20 you can buy an oil pressure gauge at Harbor Freight that includes the 14x1.5 mm to 1/8 inch NPT coupler to adapt to the C900 oil filter switch hole. Then you can see what the pressure is. Per Bentley 16-valve manual, oil pressure light turns on at less than 4.4-7.2 psi. At 2000 rpm idle warm engine, oil pressure gauge should read at least 39 psi. Relief valve on side of timing cover near left motor mount opens at 52-75 psi. Low pressure could be caused by worn oil pump, stuck open relief valve, or too much clearance in worn crankshaft bearings.
