Once towed an XK120 1500 miles. Not a saab tow car though.
Should be No big deal.. engine trans is a major part of the things' overall weight. Piece 'o cake I would think. Hope it's worth it tho, MGB's are not much of a car, despite 'nostalgia'
Weld on a tow bar to the MGB frame and tie the steering straight ahead, ensure there is oil in the diff, stick on some brake lights and you are off :-)
