suggest that you remove lock cylinder. Then use a 5/8-inch bolt with 1/4-inch deep slot cut on a diameter on its threaded end inserted in key cylinder hole to engage pawl which engages the gears that release the reverse lockout and select various positions on ignition switch. Bolt slot will have to be cut with one of those fat carbide grit coated mouse tail hacksaw blades. Getting cylinder out is easier if alloy gear shift housing is removed from the car floor, so that can work on it on bench. To do this, remove driver seat. Remove three sided nuts and catch bolts from underneath alloy housing. This releases housing from floor. Remove wires from ignition switch recording which wire goes to which terminal. Tilt housing on side and remove three bolts from bottom white plastic cover. Then remove alloy housing leaving gear shift rod in car. Turn housing so plug on left side at bottom of key cylinder is facing up, and drill out the plug if not already drilled out. Turn key halfway between "OFF" and "Acc" position. Insert long handle of a small allen key into hole and jiggle ignition key until you feel allen wrench go in a little further. Then pull up on ignition key to remove the cylinder. Then clean out the cylinder in kerosene and lightly oil. If key doesn't turn at all, then you can tap in side of cylinder to release it, which means cylinder will have to be replaced. Until you get new cylinder and keys from dealer, you can operate car using the slotted bolt. If lockout mechanism doesn't turn with the slotted bolt, either the ignition electrical switch's internal spring is broken or the gears inside the alloy housing are broken. While apart, it would be worthwhile replacing switch. Driving with the bolt is only a temporary/emergency option, since (1) it may prevent you from shutting down the engine, (2) makes car easy to steal, and (3) may generate questions from law enforcement if you get pulled over.
