Mog406, Yes - you're probably right. My '90 SPG is a California car, so Saab removed the EGR legally with a Tech Service Bulletin. And I have ECU's here of both the 585 & 948 variety. So, I guess all I need is some directions to remove all of the junk correctly. Do you know of anywhere the directions can be found online? Or, do I just park the '91 SPG next to the '90 SPG, and make the EGR car look like the non-EGR car, and switch the ECU to avoid CE light? I don't mind doing that - I just thought I'd play nice, hook EGR up correctly, and leave it like that until problems eventually arose. At one time in 2003 I had 2 '90 SPGs, one with EGR and one without, and they both ran equally nicely. The one I kept is red, the one I'm working on is green. It runs beautifully, if I hook up those lines incorrectly! So - Any place for directions? Thanks for the input. Vern
