There is a way to defeat your over pressure switch without having to actually get right to it, at least it worked on an '86 I did this to. There are orange and white (or brown and white I forget which) wires coming from both the ECU and the fuel pump relay right above your ECU that make their way to the over pressure switch. Anyway they unplug so you can literally plug the ECU and fuel pump relay together. The 2 wires going to the switch can be left dangling but I also plug them together in case someone is in there and wonders why they are unplugged. If you do go straight to the switch you can also turn the large brass screw in the center of the switch clockwise which raises the pressure limit before it cuts the fuel.
