The car sometimes became hard to start after running it for a half hour or more.
The car was a little boggy at start up when I bought it until it ran for another few minutes.
The car finally stopped starting. It would run for a few seconds and die and then not even fire after that.
I checked for spark at one plug and it was good, so I thought the fuel pump and filter needed a change. I did that and the car still would only run for a few seconds and would not even fire after that. I then changed the fuel pump relay and again checked the fuse on the fuse box.
I put on a different APC box when it failed to start and then it started and ran for a 1/2 hour without issue. While it was idling, it stalled and never started again.
I don't know how to check for codes. I don't know where the hall sensor is or what it is. I don't know how to check for fuel pressue either.
Since GM dropped Saab, there is only one mechanic who I am thinking about taking it to by flatbed at a cost of $250 if I can't get it going.
