If it's just cracked and otherwise structurally all there, you could probably repair it with epoxy and some gauze (or fiberglass patch. The only moving part near it is the rotor and it's unlikely to harm a quality patch job. Clean it up real nicely, then use 15 minute epoxy to impregnate a piece of gauze of the right shape. Once dry trim it up with an exacto knife and you should be in good shape.
