As Saab88 said, there's no transmission oil drain plug on a 1992 five speed and you must remove the rear cover to drain the transmission oil (big whoop). There is also no "Pan" on any C900 five speed transmission so I wonder if you are referring to an automatic transmission? The automatic (all years) has two drain plugs, one for the ATF and one for the final drive oil (and a third one for the engine oil). Beware of someone draining the engine oil and then overfilling the transmission enabling you to instantly destroy your engine. All C900 transmissions (manual and automatic) have an engine oil drain plug and non-Saab mechanics sometimes get confused that way.
