I assume by Saab manual you mean Bentley--yes?

I refer to this car as the POS vert. My son picked it up this summer without me being there to have a look first. He was burning a quart of oil a day in that thing. It had bad rings and a blown head gasket (among other things). I really don't know the car's history, but let's say it's safe to assume it wasn't babied. He drove it for a couple weeks till it got to the point that he couldn't go over 5mph with it. I had to tow him home. We got a similar-mileage turbo motor for $200 and had a father/son learning experience installing it. Fixing all the electrical gremlins was the real nightmare with the car. It had really been kluged. Over the hump now, and just fixing a few little things. Up side is that it was a southern car originally and the body is in good shape--relatively new top too.
