I have a 1991 900S 2.1 with 220,000 miles. I have recently been experiencing the limp home mode. It started after replacing the manual clutch, master and slave but I think that fact is just coincidence. I have tested the AMM (good), replaced the TPC (tested poorly on Idle closed throtle body), tested AIC (good). This is the strange thing, first start of the day the car will run pretty well and go through all 5 gears. You start it up after a quick stop, still runs well. Let car sit for 10 minutes it then goes into limp mode. Should I be looking at a voltage regulator, the ignition control module, O2 Sensor? Lastly, I havbe had no check engine light but even when I tried to pull codes it did not come on. I plan on pulling the instrument clustyer panel and inspect the light and plug. The Saab dealer polietly said they don't work on Saabs older then 2003. It would cost several hundreds of dollars to track problem down. Any help would be appreciated
