Might want to check the heater valve inlet and exit plastic tubes. I had a problem with the plastic on the heater valve rotting away. Right where their hose clamp the the heater valve.
I had a leak in the area and all that had to be done was pull the radiator hose cut off the rotting plastic and then I was able to hose clamp the hose's to the the very edge of plastic tubes that remained on the heater valve that was still in good condition. 8 years with the heater valve with the procedure done never leaked since.
Looking at the picture the yellow in the inlet and exit tubes was all rot the yellow line across the is where it needed to be cut. The leftover plastic tubes is the new area where the hoses are clamped to.
Not saying this is your problem, but might want to check. This is a very easy fix to the problem with no money out of pocket.
