Kind of strange, noticed a miss under boost. 200 odd miles into the journey, nursed it for a few miles, then it quit. After some basic diagnosis, and ending up with an empty trunk ('88 spg) and tapping the fuel pump, we were back on our way. It didn't quit again, but still missed under load. Grabbed a $60 fuel pump assembly from Moes in Seattle (good guy, BTW). Still missed under load. Started pulling plugs first. #2 was cracked, with visable carbon tracking. New plugs from local auto store (i was still 200 miles from home), they were resistor plugs, but work OK. More than i hoped to be doing on a 500 mile trip with family! Fortunately i didn't have to burden the AAA this time... 145,000 miles, BTW
