Shaft pin is the worst! What I ended up doing was using a press. I ground down a bolt to about 1/8 - 3/16" diameter, used various blocks of metal to support the shaft and pressed it out. I used a bolt so I would have a decent amount of flat surface to put against the press. You can do the same with a vise I guess but you'd be working sideways.

Once it's out, replacing the seal is easy. There's a napa part for it but you have to use two. It's part #4912

**** be sure to take note of the orientation of the offset of the end of the distributor to the rotor at the the other end. Still haven't put mine back together because I did not do this and am too lazy to pull my other distributor.
